Riberry is native to Australia, it has a pear shaped fruit which is only about 13mm long, so relatively small, coloured from red through to purple, though when cooked change to a pink colour. The taste is spicy with a tartness that resembles something like a chai tea, with hints of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. The fruit is high in antioxidants, folate, and magnesium, and is packet with a good dose of vitamin E and manganese.
