Carrots

Carrots is a root vegetable that was probably first cultivated in Persia though this is unconfirmed. It comes in a variety of colours from the common orange through to red, purple, white, black and yellow. Predominantly it is the root which is eaten though the seeds and leaves are also consumed in some cultures. They come in a variety of sizes from baby through to giants.
