Muntries are an Australian native fruit, which generally grows in coastal areas from western Victoria through to the Eyre Peninsular and Kangaroo Island in SOuth Australia. The fruit berries are small with a purplish green coloring. The flavour is sweet, tending to resemble the taste of an apple, though with the aroma of spices and honey. This fruit is high in antioxidants, and is great to be made into jams, desserts, pies, fruit salads and in a variety of sauces.
