Bircher Muesli


  • 200 gm            Oats, rolled.
  • 50 gm              Sultanas
  • 50 gm              Chopped Almonds
  • 50 gm              Linseeds
  • 50 gm              Dried Apricots (sulphur free), chopped.
  •                         Fresh dates, pitted & chopped
  • 1tsp                  Cinnamon powder.
  •                         Apple, grated.
  •                         Strawberries, cleaned & halved.


  • Mix together all the listed ingredients minus the fruit, in a mixing bowl. As this is a lot of mix you can keep it in an airtight container, just ask Mum & Dad for one.

  • Add the flour, till you get a consistency like a thick batter, now add the zucchini, and corn then mix together well!

  • To serve up, put some of the good grain mix into your breaky bowl, top with some strawberries and some of the grated apple.

  • Pour the type of milk you like either soy, cow, rice, goat, etc. Or if you like things really sweet you can use apple juice! WARNING: it is very sweet!
