Ingredients

  • 500g Cooked Chickpeas (canned).
  • 2-3    Garlic cloves, crushed fine.
  • 1        Lemon, juice.
  • 180g Tahini paste
  •           Olive Oil
  •           Salt & Pepper

Method

  • Combine the chickpeas, garlic lemon and tahini in a food processor. Add a generous drizzle of olive oil and blend into a paste. If it is too gluggy add more olive oil or lemon juice till you have a thick mayonnaise consistency.
  • Season to taste, and serve. I often like to add some whole cooked chickpeas for a chunky texture.
