Pulled Lamb Burger


  • 18     Kofte
  • 6       Pita Pockets, opened
  • 150g Yoghurt Sauce
  • 1        Iceberg Lettuce, washed & chopped
  • 1        Tomato, sliced
  • 12      Mint leaves
  •           Couscous
  • 1kg    Lamb Mince.
  • 2tsp  Coriander ground
  • P       Ground Cumin
  • P       Allspice
  •           Mint, chopped.
  •           Parsley, chopped.
  • 150g Bread crumbs
  • 1c      Garlic, smashed fine.
  • 1        egg
  •           Olive Oil
  •           Salt & Pepper


  • In the base of the pita, add lettuce, top with a serve of the cous cous.

  • Add 3 of the Kofte, 2 mint leaves, a few slices of tomato, and a serving of sauce.

  • Drizzle with a little olive oil.

  • In a mixing bowl add all of the ingredients, and stir together well.

  • Season the mix, and shape into either small patties.

  • Cook off in a pan, with a little olive oil.
