Ingredients
850g Self-Raising Flour
2tbs Wattleseeds, soaked
20g Oregano, chopped
5c Garlic, roasted
1.5tsp Salt
40g Olive Oil
400m Water
Method
Pre-heat the oven to 200c
In a large bowl add the flour, seeds oregano, garlic & salt, mix to combine well.
Create a well in the middle of the mixture
Add the olive oil together with the milk and combine the wet & dry ingredients together to form a dough.
Turn the dough onto a floured board and knead till smooth.
Cut a cross in the top, brush with a little oilive oil then place on a greased baking tray and place in the oven.
Cook for approx. 30 minutes till the outside is golden brown and you can tap the base of the damper and it sounds hollow.
Allow to cool prior to serving.
